case study

Green SquaresThe Pantry, London

Description
The brief for this project was two-fold: Firstly to create furniture which would enhance the owners desire to convey a sense of quality not just in the food they prepared but also in the design and presentation. Secondly to create a series of built-in units which, while housing all the required appliances, would appear 'light, open and inviting'. The solution was to create a series of 'freestanding' pieces which give the impression of being in one's own home - in a design which is both traditional and contemporary at the same time.
