Mortise, in a word is the realization of our company's ethos - to join strongly with your vision, our creative ideas and craftsmanship. More than just a word, Mortise is a process that realizes its ultimate strength when two complimentary parts join together.
At Mortise our work is always bespoke, constructed from only the finest quality materials and made to your individual requirements. We are pleased to offer our service on any size commission: from single rooms to flats & houses, commercial spaces and office interiors and to any type of client: private clients, architect and interior designers.
The process of commissioning your work typically begins with an initial conversation to discuss your ideas, timescales and any coordination requirements. Next we will visit your property to prepare any measured surveys required and to explore all the design options available to your situation.
Concept drawings, a written specification and quotation are then prepared for your review. Once you have approved the design drawings, your project goes into production and should you wish to visit our workshop, available for your personal viewing.
Once completed in our workshop your project is then professionally delivered and installed to the same high standards.
